Great news! Fresh Breath Dental  is thrilled to announce that our office is open!

We have missed seeing all our wonderful patients and look forward to treating you and your family members once again.

Our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality dental care in a safe and healthy environment, while following all governor mandated orders.

In order to maintain the health and safety of our patients and staff, please read through the following measures, outlined below, that we are taking in our offices for all appointments.

COVID-19 Policy & Procedures

ONLY PATIENTS ARE TO ENTER THE OFFICE

In an effort to minimize the number of people entering our office and maintaining social distancing protocols, we respectfully request that only the scheduled patient enters the office for their appointment.

If additional family members who do not have scheduled appointments come with you, they will need to wait in your vehicle during the appointment rather than our waiting area.

Parents are encouraged to attend the appointment with your child. Please be prepared to be screened as well and to social distance etc.

OUR NEW WAITING ROOM IS YOUR VEHICLE

In order to eliminate having too many patients in our waiting areas, we ask that you wait in your vehicle until the time of your scheduled appointment. At that time, we will have you call or text to check in with us. A team member will let you know when you may enter the office for your appointment.

It is also important that patients do not arrive late to their appointments in order to avoid any backup of patients in the office.

PRE-SCREENING HEALTH QUESTIONS

We kindly request that you call to reschedule your appointment if:

1. You are experiencing any of the following symptoms: respiratory symptoms (runny nose or congestion), fever, cough, sore throat, body aches or shortness of breath. Also, please make us aware if you have had contact with anyone who is/has been ill with any of these symptoms.

2. If within the past two weeks, you or someone you have been in contact with, have recently traveled from a CDC designated high-risk area, been on a cruise, or have come in contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.

APPOINTMENT PROCEDURES

We ask that you bring in a signed COVID consent form or fill it out online prior to your appointment. You can find that here.

We ask that you wear a mask if you feel comfortable doing so, and be prepared to have your temperature taken prior to being taken back for services. If you are cleared for treatment, your blood pressure will also be taken if needed for operative procedures.

We are requiring patients to rinse with either peroxyl or a solution of hydrogen peroxide for one minute before treatment.

Thank you for understanding and adhering to these enhanced health and safety protocols. We are taking extreme measures to ensure both your safety and the safety of our staff. You may notice some different things when you enter the office.

  • Our team will have protective masks and shields, our front desk will be in masks, and we have a plexiglass barrier at the front desk.

  • We have purchased air purifiers that have HEPA filters and UV-C sanitizers for each operatory (UVC kills COVID!) and we will be cleaning all surfaces often.

  • There are touch-free sanitizing stations and our waiting room will no longer have magazines, pens, or toys. Our staff will also have their temperature checked daily before work.

We are doing everything we can to protect you and your family, as well as our staff and their families. As always, our staff will continue to follow the level of universal infection control precautions per OSHA and CDC guidelines. It is our priority that our practice remains a very safe space to continue to administer dental care. Please contact our office if you have any questions regarding the above Covid 19 policy information.
